In 2002, upon completing 20 years of dedication and experience in the Hotel Industry, I decided to face the challenge of starting-up my own business.

My hotel experience commenced in 1985 with the CIGA Hotels (today owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts) at the Hotel Des Bains on Venice Lido. I later moved on to the Hotel Beau Rivage in Lausanne, a Leading Hotel of the World, followed by the Hotel Cipriani in Venice and the Hotel Danieli in Venice. 

I have covered many facets in hotel operations, from Front Office to Food & Beverage Events Coordinator. I later moved into the Sales & Marketing coordinating the Regional Sales Office of Starwood Hotels in Venice and completed my experience as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hotel Bauer and Il Palazzo in Venice.

In November 2002; at the start of my freelance career and while attending the World Travel Market, the idea of ON-VIEW came about. While talking to a friend, General Manager and Owner of a Tour Operator, I offered my assistance for weddings of British couples in Venice and in Italy. Shortly after the first request came; then another and others. The word quickly spread and I was contacted from USA, Austalia, Canada, England, Germany... and other countries throughout Europe.

My desire was not to head an agency that offered just wedding services; but something much more personalized. Celebrating one’s most special day in a truly romantic city such us Venice, can only be more memorable with the unique touche and experience of your local wedding planner.
