- The town hall is an outstanding Gothic palazzo that has served as Siena’s town hall since the
1300s. The palazzo contains the civic museum, Museo Civico, its walls covered with pre-
Renaissance frescoes......
- Civil weddings are performed in an impressive hall. To reach the marriage hall you will pass
through stunning halls all covered with frescoes. As you enter the marriage hall you will be
amazed by its finest decors and refined period furniture........
- The wedding ceremony is usually performed in the wedding hall Sala del Concistorio and offers
room for 100 guests maximum, but also for smaller groups. .....
- The ceremony is performed in Italian by the Mayor or one of his representatives, and an interpreter
translates the ceremony into English (interpreter is requested by law)
- Civil Ceremony lasts between 20 – 35 minutes
- The ceremony is lawfully binding and can’t be changed
- During the ceremony it is possible to add personal readings and poems to the ceremony script (no
longer than 5 minutes max.), and the spouses are welcome to exchange their personal vows
- Music recommended: violinist or guitarist or vocal with string or guitar.
